WEIGHTLIFTING PROGRAM.
Our Weightlifting Program aims to train people in the sport of olympic weightlifting. It is a fun and competitive way to challenge yourself beyond what you thought capable. It is an athletic discipline consisting of two lifts ; the "snatch" and the "clean & jerk." Olympic weightlifting develops strength, flexibility, power and coordination.
At Excel Performance, you'll be welcomed into a fun but competitive environment where you can experience the technical side of weightlifting. You will be constantly challenged, striving to beat your own personal records-- as well as others-- and consistently improving. Once you have reached a certain level you will be given opportunities to compete in open weightlifting competitions, where our community can come to cheer you on.
